Ber(MOOD)a | Hamilton Princess Hotel

October 8, 2019

Hello, Bermuda!

Took a trip to Bermuda towards the end of September with a few friends to celebrate our girl, Noelle and her last moments of being a single woman with a little bachelorette party! Can’t believe that this was my first time visiting this country, considering it’s only and hour and a half from New York City!

We ended up staying at the lovely Hamilton Princess Hotel which is located in Hamilton, Bermuda and only about 25-30 minutes from the airport. Honestly, once we arrived I was in awe. From the show-stopping art pieces to the details of the architecture, I couldn’t put my phone down from snapping photos!

The start and end of our days were spent at the infinity pool where I saw some of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. During mid-day we took the complimentary jitney from the hotel to The Hamilton Princess’s private beach where I spent way too many hours on the water hammock.

We ended Noelle’s bachelorette weekend of fun in the sun on a private yacht which was recommended by The Princess!

This was truly a magical weekend I’ll never forget. So happy to have made a long lasting memories with such close friends. Thank you so much Hamilton Princess for the weekend stay!

Happy Spring everyone!

Tis the season to start incorporating neutrals into your wardrobe. I got a little help completing my look from my friends at Kenneth Cole and Stylinity. You can’t go wrong with an everyday sneaker. These sporty yet chic low-top sneakers are a great way to spruce up your everyday look. Since they’re more of a minimal style, I decided to keep it clean with a monochromatic look. These are definitely coming with me on my travels next week! The gel pod insoles will keep me comfortable to site-see on my feet all day!

Shop this look: Kenneth Cole Futurepod Oxfords

If you’re looking for more of a dressier approach my favorite from Kenneth Cole has been the Futurepod lace up oxfords. I decided to dress these slightly edgier with unlikely pieces but have also been pairing with linen trousers this spring season. The best part is the 37.5 technology used which neutralizes moisture and eliminates odor for a fresh feeling so, goodbye socks!

Since summer is coming to an end, I might as well keep the fun alive. I never thought leopard and camouflage would make the perfect pair, but sometimes piecing the most unconventional prints together becomes conventional. Ideally, creating this look started from the bottom. These are my first pair of camouflage pants so I’m a little late to the game. Can’t wait to transition these into my fall wardrobe once it cools down in New York.

How to survive a New York City Summer: Never go on a rooftop that doesn’t have a pool. Rule #2 is to stick with your cottons and linens. August is one of the hottest months in New York City so if you can survive that, you can just about survive anything.

I’ve been wearing these cotton/linen blend shorts from¬†The Frilly all summer long. They’re easy, light-weight, comfortable and not to mention, I customized them myself! They’re fitted at the waist and relaxed at the hip and thigh to give that breezy silhouette. These will for sure be my go-to’s until August is over!
