Summer is all about adventures and the special moments you capture while in the midst of them. I’ve teamed up with Old Navy to show you how I styled their new denim while on an adventure with my family upstate. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I spent my weekend in Charlotteville, New York. Not sure where that is?! I’m not surprised. It’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere.. in fact, from our house up there, you’d have to drive five minutes into town to receive cell reception. In a nutshell, it’s no Hamptons getaway, but it’s peaceful.

When theres no cellphone service, what else is there to do other than explore? Luckily with the weather slight chillier upstate,Β Old Navy had me exploring in style. As of recently, I’ve started to become more of a denim guy. With Old Navy’s new built-in flex collection, it has the right amount of stretch in their denim for added comfort and easy movement; making my long bike rides upstate a little more pleasant.
The possiblities are endless when it comes to styling denim. One of my favorite ways is to dress them up a button down. I like the idea of a subtle print shirt with a dark wash jean, like this one from Old Navy’s new explorer collection. These two items alone create the perfect outfit, but adding that extra layer with this cozy bomber jacket seemed like the best solution for upstate. So easy to take this look from day to night!
