Just kidding I don’t smoke, but I’m trying to pass on wearing this puffer jacket everyday. Get it!? As much as I’m over this cold weather, I actually had to pull this bad boy out the other day. Hopefully that was the last, but I won’t hold my breath. He had a good run this season though…

Just went I thought spring weather was here to stay in NYC, I’m cold af again. This look was shot a couple weeks ago but I might have to pull it back out again, especially the coat. During the chillier weeks, it was definitely my go to. Turtlenecks, chunky sweaters or whatever it was, this coat made the perfect partner. The best part about it is that it’s currently on sale for under $100 now! There’s an olive color that I’m actually considering. Yes, I’m that person who owns the same article of clothing in a variety of colors because, why not?! If something is working for you, go for it. Btw, I’m 99.9% sure these Jadon boots are glued to my feet. I’m a shorty, so it’s fun to be 3 inches taller every now and then.

MY FRILLY

February 19, 2018

I’ve always wanted to be a designer or to at least design an article of clothing but theres just one thing, I can’t sew to save my life. Luckily, The Frilly has got my back. I can finally become the creative director of my own little capsule collection. The Frilly was built on one simple premise: you know best. They allow you to change to color and hem of any piece with a few simple clicks from your mouse. Virtually curating an array of timeless styles fit just for you.

What I love most about The Frilly is that most pieces are unisex. You can create something masculine or feminine depending on your own personal style. I actually fell in love with the example of the many ways you can design the Julien Jumper so I decided to stick with it. It’s just a cute and cropped lightweight sweater that’s perfect for layering.

I can’t ever turn down adding another sweater to my closet. The example of how you can design the Carla pullover showed it as a low hip fit. I decided to design mine as a tunic with a high-low split hem. The fabric and stitching is incredible. It’s such a heavy weight knit which is perfect for the winter with a jacket or alone in the spring.

One of my best friends is a photographer for Italian Vogue so when she calls to shoot an editorial, you not only answer, you answer quick. I posted the two that Vogue Italia picked up on my Instagram awhile back, but here’s the rest of the photos from our shoot. These were shot in Greenport a year ago (just kidding, back in November) when I had the opportunity to attend a charity event for The Art Bus Project. We stayed at the cutest motel for the weekend called Silversands which looks like it’s straight up out the 1950’s. Everything from the decor to the brochures and street signs is all from it’s original state. If you ever catch yourself headed to Greenport, Long Island it’s a must stay! Hopefully I’ll get to go back sometime over the summer.
